Intelligent Transportation Systems Association of Türkiye is an organization that exists with its members like every non-governmental organization. It derives power from its members and needs members support to survive.

Being a member of the associations is a voluntary work; however, after becoming a member, some of the responsibilities are imposed by law, material and moral responsibilities and obligations come into play. Potential members may hesitate to take on this responsibility and therefore are not interested in association membership.

The ITS Türkiye Volunteers Program was launched by the Intelligent Transportation Systems Association of Türkiye to provide with the opportunity to people who don’t prefer to become official members of the association but those who would like to participate more actively in associatios’s work and to continue their relationships with the association. It is possible to participate to the activities of the association being as a volunteer without having any legal or personal responsibility.
