Intelligent Transportation Systems is a supra-disciplinary sector whose history does not go back very long, has been accelerating its development in recent years and is related to many disciplines from health to law, from construction to electronics. In this sector, which is in close contact with several disciplines, one of the most important problems is the development of the qualifications of those who work in this sector, along with the quantity.
As ITS Türkiye, in order to make some contribution to the field of ITS, we have cooperated with ERTICO ITS Europe to provide ITS Trainings in our country. Trainings were organized in Ankara in March 2020, March 2022 and May 2024 as part of the SUMMITS International ITS Summit program. Participation from municipalities, universities and private sector, especially from public institutions, has been provided to these trainings. Successful participants received certificates at the end of the trainings.
These trainings were organized by ERTICO for the first time in this format and the feedback received afterwards indicated that these trainings were found useful and there was a demand for further development and continuation. The trainings organized so far and the trainers are given below.
