SUMMITS International ITS Summit

Although Intelligent Transportation Systems are seen as an area under smart city planning, they have an important place as a sector in itself. The International ITS Summit was launched in 2019 with the aim of enabling this sector to express itself, share experiences, move forward by creating synergies and to create a good example of interoperability, which is indispensable for Intelligent Transportation Systems, by realizing them not only within the country but also with foreign stakeholders. While the summit which started in 2020 under the name SUMMITS, due to the pandemic it could not be held in 2021. It was held for the 3rd time on March 9-10, 2022, with the motto "Shaping the Future of Transportation," and for the 4th time on May 2-4, 2023, with the motto "Leading the Digital Transformation of Transportation with ITS."

The progress made from 2019 to 2022 can be easily understood from the number of participants in the summits. The summits planned to be held every two years have been the expected organization of the sector with its content, number of participants and social events.
