In line with the 2023 targets of our country, the North Aegean Motorway, whose foundations were laid on April 05, 2017, significantly reduced the transportation distance to the most important maritime trade, industry and tourism centers of the region. The motorway was opened to traffic as Access Controlled Motorway on October 30, 2019 at 00:01.

Financed under the leadership of the leading organizations of our country, the North Aegean Motorway provides transport services on a total of 96 km, including 56 km of motorway and 40 km of connecting roads.

The North Aegean Highway is equipped with Intelligent Transportation Systems technology in order to ensure the safety of traffic and motorway users. Thanks to IT technologies, 200 cameras, 26 variable message signs, 40 variable traffic signs, 21 traffic counting sensors, Scada tunnel / highway security system data are monitored from a single center along the entire motorway route and rapid reactions to emergency situations are provided timely.

The North Aegean Highway provides uninterrupted service 24/7 with 32 exits and 24 entrance facilities at 7 stations equipped with the most modern technologies.
