About the Member:

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, one of the youngest and most dynamic universities in Türkiye, was established with the mission of "Bridge to the Future" with the Law No. 6640 published in the Official Gazette dated April 23, 2015 and numbered 29335

Our university has started its academic life with the educational institutions taken over from Balıkesir University, which has a long-established history of 24 years. Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was founded on September 8, 2015. With the inauguration of our Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Özdemir, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University started to take steps towards rapid development.

Our University continues its educational and research activities with 4 institutes, 7 faculties, 1 college and 5 vocational schools in a total of 6 campuses.

As of the 2017-2018 academic year, there are about 17,633 students at associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels in our university.
