Gaziantep, the city of civilizations that smells of history, which Evliya Çelebi called the City as “Şehr-i of Ayıntab-ı Cihan”, saying "Neither language nor pen is enough to explain".

Within the scope of smart transportation in our city, we have renewed the system from the start with a new planning approach in 2017 in order to eliminate the challenges experienced in management of data required in studies prior to 2015 and to increase the data security. Hence renewing our technology and removing cash usage in public transportation enabled us to realize the “HES Code in Public Transportation Project” as the first city in Türkiye during the pandemic period.

With the aim of managing the transportation from a single centre by harmonizing the transportation infrastructure across the city, Intelligent Transport Systems Technologies such as Public Transport Traffic Management Centre, Single Card Payment system, mobile applications, Travel Information System, electrical vehicles, Signalisation Traffic Management Centre, Electronic Enforcement System (EDS), Variable Message Signal (VMS) Green Wave, System Integrations, Gaziantep Driverless Subway (GoA4), Gaziray Suburb Line, Tram and Bicycle Roads and Bicycle Renting System, etc. have been taken into use.

The Gaziantep Card project, which we have started as the most important move in public transportation between 2017 and 2020, was awarded the " Path of the Mind Awards in Transportation - Municipality Award” by ITS Türkiye.
